Dr. Oncken is an eastside native. He was introduced to chiropractic after a low back injury as a twelve year old. Having such great results, Dr. Oncken continued chiropractic care to help him with many sports injuries and disease prevention throughout his teenage and college years.
Dr. Oncken is a graduate of Inglemoor High School and a graduate of the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While at Palmer College, Dr. Oncken worked as a graduate assistant in the Physical Rehabilitation Department, and also taught classes on Rehabilitation and Sports Injury. Dr. Oncken also worked on continuing education throughout his schooling, he has special training in: whiplash and brain traumatology, advanced sports injuries, structural rehabilitation of the spine and extremities and treatments that are specific for instabilities of the low back, pelvis, neck and shoulder areas.
Dr. Oncken currently lives in Newcastle with his wife Kelli and their two boys Caleb and Lucas. They enjoy being part of such a great Eastside community and enjoy the great Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Onken is excited about the changes occurring in our community and is an active member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association and the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce. |
